Glenn Ferguson was “encouraged” by aspects of Ballymena United’s play despite the Sky Blues’ 1-0 Danske Bank Premiership defeat at Ballinamallard.
The manager explains his decision to start the match with four strikers on the bench and admits his side has to “sharpen up” in front of goal after a worrying lack of goals in recent weeks.
Ferguson also hints at changing the formation when the sides meet again on Tuesday night in a League Cup clash at the Showgrounds.
