Ervin’s cross led to United’s opening goal, while Boyce headed a dramatic equaliser with United just four minutes from elimination from the competition.

Ferguson has called for an improved performance from his players as they resume their Danske Bank Premiership campaign at Dungannon Swifts on Tuesday night.
