VIDEO: George Best’s first TV interview

The Northern Irish man is a legend of the game.

He lit up games with his undoubted talent, and is still talked about in the same breath as the world’s greats.

Best certainly came a long way from his humble beginnings in the Cregagh Estate in Belfast.

In this his very first television interview a 17-year-old Best talks about his career.

“I’ve saved up £700 in three months, so I’m hoping to get a car soon,” he tells the interviewer.

In the background there’s another famous face, none other than Victor Hunter.
