VIDEO: Smith signs for Peterborough United
Michael Smith has signed for League One side Peterborough United from Bristol Rovers.
The full-back, a former Ballyclare Comrades and Ballymena United player, put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Darren Ferguson’s men for an undisclosed fee.
“Everybody knows what a good club Peterborough is and the club’s ambition of getting back into the Championship. After a difficult season last year, it would be great to be involved in a promotion push and I can’t wait to get started,” the 25-year-old told the Posh website.
Last season Smith was named in the League Two team of the year and won Rovers’ Player of the Year award.
