The Wanderers started the brighter of the two and took the lead when Hamilton fed Michael Allen who broke the offside trp before calmly firing past Donemana keeper McGonagle.

The lead only last five minutes, before a sequence of long throws and corners, which caused Wanderers havoc all day, was bundled in for the equaliser.

Ryan Curry restored the lead for the home side when he impressively chipped the out-rushing McGonagle, but to their credit Donemana levelled things again when from another corner Jason Millgan saw his drive from the edge of the box fly into the net.

In an even start to the second half it was Wanderers’ Jason McCracken who produced a piece of magic to restore their lead.

He skipped past four defenders before coolly placing a right footed shot into the top corner, giving McGonagle no chance.

Credit to the visitors they battled back for a third time when Millgan’s pin-point cross found McDermott and he made no mistake powerfully heading home past Glenn.

On 75 minutes Wanderers finally took control of the game when Keith Hamilton played a one-two with Allen before drilling the ball low into the net past the excellent McGonagle.

Allen made sure of the points for the home side when he again broke clear and managed to slip the ball under McMonagle, he was denied his hat-trick on a number of occasions as McGonagle made a host of saves in the closing minutes.

Duo Doherty and McMonagle were best for Donemana, while Wray, Curry, Allen and man of the match Hamilton were in top form for the Wanderers to claim the all important and well deserved three points.
