Limavady Rugby Club were hammered 9-1 by holders Strathoy Harps, Drummond went down 3-2 at Kircubbyin, Lincoln Courts lost 3-0 at Carniny Rangers and Donemana went down by the odd goal of three away at Tummery Athletic.

In the Premier Division, Newbuildings United Reserves drew 2-2 with Dungiven Reserves to extent their lead at the top of the table to four points.

However BBOB have two games in hand over Newbuildings and they play one of those games in hand this weekend.

This Saturday the Premier Division action takes centre stage, with the match of the day seeing if Don Olphert’s BB side can keep their 100 per cent record going in the league going and in doing so cut the gap at the top to just a point, when they entertain Waterside neighbours Lincoln Courts.

The home side were unlucky to lose in the Irish Junior Cup last week so now they must concentrate in getting some league points, they are a very difficult side to beat on their home patch.

The Limavady men like their opponents bowed out of the Junior cup but previous to that they had been producing a few decent performances, this could end all square.

Prediction: Score Draw.

Ballykelly v Ardmore

Two sides who will hope to be contesting for the title come the end of the season, the home side have a few new faces in their ranks this season and it is taking them a while to gel but that will come.

Ardmore after a disastrous run of results finally got their first league win of the season last time out, they will have to build on that if they are going to be a force this season.

Prediction: Score Draw.

Caw v Tullyally

Caw produced their best performance of the season in their win at Tobermore last week, they know now that they are capable of putting in good performances but they must start doing it on a regular basis.

Tullyally have had a mixed start to the campaign, an almost all local side who like to get it down and knock it around they can be dangerous opponents.

Prediction: Score Draw.

BBOB v Lincoln Courts

The Old Boys are currently unbeaten and manager Don Olphert must surely feel that this is going to be their season, a quality side who have match winners throughout the team.

The Courts are blowing a bit hot and cold, they played poorly in last week’s defeat at Carniny Rangers, however when they are on their game they are tough opponents, but the Old Boys may prove to strong.

Prediction: BBOB.
