'˜We need our supporters' says Town boss ahead of league run-in

Crystal Park welcomed a bumper crowd on Saturday, with many supporters returning for the first time this season. And the manager was quick to praise their efforts and hopes it won’t be as long before they’re back.

“In recent weeks we have had a decent crowd down and on Saturday it was really good,” he said.

“We try to play attractive football that people can enjoy watching. I got a lot of positive feedback from people who haven’t been down in a while who were impressed with how we played and said they will be back.

“We need all the support we can get for the rest of the season to give the players a boost. When they see more people in the ground and there’s a good atmosphere, it really helps them.”
