Wee Whites can learn from mistakes

It was then the turn of the U10 Whites to take the field against local rivals Lisburn United. The United boys improved substantially for their last game between the sides and were the better team in the first period and were rewarded with a well taken goal.

Ex-whites player Lennox Young will be well pleased with his excellent contribution against his former team mates.

Period two saw the boys improve slightly with Bradley White urging the boys forward from the back.

Jonathan McCullough was creating havoc with some great runs down the right wing and Jack Bonar was unlucky on a few occasions not to keep his goalscoring run going.

Matthew Moore then went on a surging run but pulled his shot just wide. Kenzie Bradley also showed some lovely touches after being picked out by goalkeeper Xander Power’s excellent distribution.

Ultimately it was a day when this Whites team didn’t play to the best of their ability but if they can learn from their mistakes hopefully it will be another step in the right direction in terms of their development.
