Bangor got themselves a two goal lead early in the 2nd half before the U16s got themselves back in the game with 10 minutes to go at 2-1 and got the equaliser in the dying moments.

Goal scorer on the night was Dylan Hickey with two goals.

The second goal was the pick of the bunch and came about after Matty Brush’s long range effort bounced back off the crossbar and the quickest to react was Dylan Hickey who drilled the ball in hard and low from the penalty spot.

A big thank you to Callum Walker and Ben Russell who made time from their residential to play for the u16s and both contributed well.

Dromore had a multitude of chances in the first half to be well ahead. But the team are showing great character and for the second game in a row dug in when two goals down.

The U16s really should have taken all 3 points but the euphoric celebration from the squad when the equaliser went in shows how much passion and effort they are putting in to their game at present and with the squad all playing well the next couple of matches can’t come quick enough for the U16s.
