White’s Academy sides round-up

Lisburn Distillery U-16s lost their 100% record to eleventh place Dromara on Saturday after a 1-0 defeat but are still top of the table on goal difference.

The other table topping team at the academy the U-17s still have to drop a point as goals from Scott Hunter (2), Darius Barmak and Rhys Grainger saw them beat Donegal Celtic 4-1.

Justin Shepherd’s Youth Team drew 0-0 in a hard fought encounter with St. Oliver Plunkett.

A long journey to Enniskillen to face Lisbellaw wasn’t in vain for the U-14s as they returned with a 4-1 victory in the NIBFA cup,

Andrew Gordon, Brendan Masson, Richard Kennedy and Ryan Hoey on target for the whites.

Lurgan were seen off 3-1 by the U-13s, goals from Sam Scorer, Jamie Hamilton and U-12 player Carson Elliott saw the wee whites get within a point of the league leaders.

Corey Geddis got the only goal of the game for the U-15s against Greenisland a result which sees the boys second in the table only being kept of the summit by goal difference.

Ryan Cressey, Dawson Jackson, Reece Taggart, Scott Taggart and Ben Bonar were all among the goals for the U-8s against St. Oliver Plunkett.

The U-10s GDP has finished for a winter break but Ross White, Calum Ashby, Bradley White, Jonathan McCullough and Jack Bonar got goals in a couple of friendly games with Ardoyne.
