This week’s review of the action at the Lisburn Distillery Academy starts with the U-12’s who had a hard fought victory 4-3 victory over Loughgall thanks to goals from Carson Elliot (2), Justin Agnew and Michael McCrory.

League leaders Carrick were just a bit too strong for the U-14’s but the Whites put in a solid performance and scored through Brandon Masson and Connor Treanor before going down narrowly 4-2.

Dale Monroe and Scott McCallister kept the U-17’s 100% record intact as they beat Sunnyside 2-1. The Youth Team conceded their second penalty of the game in the last minute to agonisingly go down 3-2 to 2nd placed Institute, Lyons and Dalzell were the names on the scoresheet.

Only goal difference is keeping the U-15’s off the top of the table after they had another impressive victory this time 4-1 over Donegal Celtic, the goals coming from Roo Magill (2), Sam Mulligan and Thomas Kisby. Goals from Darius Barmak (2), Peter Freeland and Conor Broadman saw the U-16’s dispose of Lower Maze and go through to the next round of the NIBFA Cup.

Not surprisingly the U-8’s were involved in another high scoring affair with Glentoran, Dawson Jackson amazingly scoring fourteen goals! A Ryan Cressey hat-trick and a goal from Ben Bonar completed the scoring for the very Wee Whites.

The U-10 Whites were involved in a tight affair with Celtic Boys and goalkeeper Xander Power made several important saves, the U-10’s started slowly against a resolute St. Mary’s side but improved as the game progressed and eventually got goals through Ross White, Conall Cunningham and a deflected Calum Ashby effort.
