Whites are set for Loughgall challenge as they aim to follow on from opening draw

The Whites secured a point with an injury time leveller, which sent New Grosvenor into raptures and left the home support feeling like they had grabbed a winner.

Boss Tommy Kincaid was impressed with his side’s performance and is hoping for more of the same tomorrow (Saturday).

“I thought the team did great, we haven’t played a lot of competitive games together and Institute are a good side, I actually thought we deserved to win.

“Loughgall is going to be a hard game, I have played them many a time as a manager and I know they are tough.”

The Whites have a few key men missing for the tie, with Chris Kingsberry and newcomer Sean Southam out through personal matters and Ally Wilson still suspended.

“I would like to go into a match with a full squad, but we go into every game to try to win it,” said Kincaid.

“The support we had was great, everybody got behind us and were supporting us. The reception the boys got on the way back following the match was incredible. It’s going to be a long season and we will need their support.”
