The Whites have lost both games they have played under his stewardship but now Sean Paul Murray reckons things are beginning to change.

“I came home from training happy for the first time on Tuesday,” he said.

“The players are working really hard. They’re better physically and they’re starting to understand what we want tactically.

“Now we just have to transform that work in training into performances on the pitch.

“Knockbreda beat us two weeks ago. Weather conditions were poor that day and they were a physical team,” he added ahead of the Irish Cup tie.

“We’re still expecting them to be like that but hopefully we will be better able to compete and if we get better weather, the ball will be on the ground more.”
