Whites’ show ‘FARE’ play

LISBURN Distillery players and officials were fully committed to FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe) action week 2012, and ahead of their Danske Bank Premiership game against Ballymena United, the players wore ‘Football FARE People’ t-shirts. Manager Tim McCann and his backroom staff along with Lisburn Distillery Community Relations Officer Ged Irwin also lent their support to the campaign.

FARE action weeks unite supporters, clubs, ethnic minorities and communities affected by a range of forms of discrimination across the continent, in a concerted effort to make discrimination a thing of the past.

The idea behind the Action Week is to co-ordinate a wide range of initiatives and activities that join groups across the continent to present a unified stand against discrimination in the game we love most.
