Win a chance to be player escort for NI match

TWO lucky Ballymena youngsters will get to witness the start of Michael O’Neill reign as Northern Ireland manager as very close quarters next month!

Two Ballymena Times readers will win the chance for their child to walk out hand-in-hand with the Northern Ireland team as a McDonald’s Player Escort when Northern Ireland play Norway in an International friendly at Windsor Park on Wednesday, February 29.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience comes courtesy of McDonald’s Ballymena and the Ballymena Times who have teamed up to give away two tailored prizes including the chance to come onto the pitch with one of the NI players at the start of the game, a match ticket for each child and their parent or guardian, a full national team kit and a McDonald’s IFA goodie bag.

Speaking about the Player Escort opportunity Des Lamph, McDonald’s Ballymena franchisee, said: “McDonald’s Ballymena operates very much as part of the local community and I’m delighted that through our Community Partnership with the Irish FA, which has driven grassroots football locally since 2002, we are able to provide Player Escort opportunities.

“It’s the first game in charge for new manager, Michael O’Neill, so the players will be out to impress and hopefully our Player Escorts will see a Northern Ireland win.”
