Without their regular keeper O’Hagan, centre half Devlin, veteran Burns and the lively McKay, YCOB were far from full strength.

With McCourt himself playing at centre back, YCOB started with the high tempo and this resulted in two penalties being converted by Walsh.

Free scoring Gartland made it 3-0 after only 25 minutes and after the break, the energetic Drainey made it 4-0 which a cool finish from just inside the box. Straight from the restart, Gartland got his second of the game and 13th of the season.

With other results going YCOB’s way, it is now in their own hands to determine their final league position and hopefully promotion.

MOTM went to Shannon Drainey.
