Fourth Sunday Sweep win for Ashton

Ashton Clydesdale won the Sunday Sweep for the fourth time this year.

There are four Sundays remaining so Ashton has an outside chance of catching Colin Smylie and John Poots who have both won six times.

Eugene Weir went home well contented too. He lifted third prize and he also split quite a large twos pot with Ken Stevenson.

3rd- Eugene Weir (5) Nett 31.5.

SATURDAY 6TH DECEMBER

Noel Kearney won this Saturday Sweep, played over 13 holes.

This was Noel’s first appearance on the prize list this year and it could very well be his first ever victory at the club. With a name like Noel, the Christmas season is the time to do it.

It was a very close finish, with no less than four players finishing with 34 points.

Winner: Noel Kearney (27) 34 points.
