Francie defeats Roy in thriller to win Individual title in the Alexander’s Lisburn and District Dart League

The Individual Final took place in the Alexander’s Lisburn and District Dart League last Friday night.

Francie McMahon won the Individual title in a thrilling match, beating Roy Montgomery 4-1 in the final.

Results from the Individuals were as follows:

Quarter finals: D. Geddis beat P. Kirkwood; F. McMahon beat P White; R. Montgomery beat A. J. Coburn and P. Presho beat P. Logan.

In the semi-finals F. McMahon beat D. Geddis 3-1, whilst R. Montgomery beat P. Presho 3-1.

The final proved to be a corker as both players produced fantastic darts.

Francie McMahon beat Roy Montgomery 4-1 in 18, 14, 19, 14 darts, with Roy’s winning leg in 13 darts.

There were a series of high scores, on the night there were scores of 120 x 100, 14x140, 3x180. plus 5 finishes of 100 +.
