Frazer leads Reserves to first win

ANDY Frazer took charge of Banbridge Rangers Reserves for the first time last Wednesday night against Division 3 team Armagh Blues and ran out convincing winners after a dominant second half display.

Armagh were 1-0 up at half time despite Rangers controlling much of the possession without any real substance.

In the second half Banbridge Rangers got back on level terms within minutes through midfielder Josh Crossett who scored a goal off real quality with a sublime finish from the edge of the area.

Substitute Neil Wilson made a positive impact up front crashing an effort from distance off the crossbar on 52 minutes and managed to put Rangers into the lead several minutes later with a deft touch and finish.

John McCahon made it 3-1 to Rangers Reserves soon after curling in a low free kick into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Man of the match Josh Crossett made his workrate pull off by getting a second goal after a lung busting run to get on the end of a cross inside the Armagh Blues area.

Another teenager out to impress was Alex Cairns who finished off his first senior goal for the club in the dying minutes of the game.
