Fred on form as darts league action resumes

FRED McDowell started 2010 with a bang as the Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League resumed on Friday evening.

The Towers Tavern player hit a 17-dart leg – but it still wasn't enough to prevent a defeat for the Ballee side at the hands of BT/PO Club in a rearranged Gallaher Division One match.

The main action on Friday night saw the spotlight fall on the Division Two clubs, with the first round of the MS Cup.
