Friel in line for Whites debut

Manager Tommy Wright snapped up the striker from Institute on Monday.

The match was previously rescheduled for February 23, but with neither club involved in Irish Cup replays they agreed to the switch. The game at Ballyskeagh kicks-off at 7.45pm.

The Whites will be hoping to bounce back from their cup defeat on Saturday against Cliftonville and try and to get some vital points on the board.

Glenavon, who started the season in superb fashion, have slipped down the table in recent months.

"We have two home games, Glenavon on Tuesday and Dungannon on Saturday, so we must try and make the most of it," said Whites' boss Tommy Wright.

"However, we will have do play much better than we did against Cliftonville."
