Four pupils represented the Prep at this event, competing against pupils from all over the province.

Two pupils reached the finals of their individual events. Noah Poots, P7, made the finals of the Under 11 Butterfly and IM events and finished in fifth and sixth place respectively, while Ryan Raffo, P5 was a finalist in the U9 Backstroke and Breastroke events. Ryan swam superbly to claim silver in the Backstroke and bronze in the Breaststoke.

Both these pupils, plus Sophie Kidd, P5, swam in times fast enough to qualify them for the Irish Schools’ Minor Swimming Championships, due to be held in February 2015.
