Funeral of cycling legend Billy on Sunday

The former Olympic and Commonwealth Games star passed away on Tuesday after a short illness.

He was widely-acclaimed as one of Ballymena’s greatest sportsmen and was a much-loved figure in local sporting circles and beyond.

His funeral will take place from his home at Glenariff Crescent, Ballymena, at 2.30pm (service 2.15pm) this Sunday, August 19, to Kirkinriola burying ground.
