GAA: All-Ireland Vocational final for Holy Trinity under 16s

HOLY TRINITY Cookstown qualified for their first ever All Ireland U16 Vocational schools final when they experienced little difficulty in getting past the challenge of Mayo and Connaught champions Davitt College Castlebar at Ballinamore County Leitrim on Saturday.

Holy Trinity dominated proceedings from start to finish and at the break they led 0-9 to 0-2 with Kieran McGeary, Cathal Devlin and Barry Potter among their points.

In the second half they continued to dictate the pace of the game with McGeary, Aidan Armstrong and defensive duo Michael Cassidy and Eoin Coyle all tagging on points.

By the time Oisin Maguire's goal arrived they were already safely through to the decider where they will face Cork and Munster kingpins St.Brogan's Bandon at Banagher in County Offaly this Saturday.
