GAA: Tyrone to host Limerick in qualifiers

Tyrone will host Limerick in the first round of the All Ireland qualifiers as they seek to rebuild their championship challenge.

The Red Hands were the first team out of the draw in section B of Monday morning’s draw and they’ve been given the task of overcoming the Munster side if they wish to progress.

Tyrone have been granted home advantage in the tie which will take place in Healy Park on Saturday 27th June.

Limerick lost out to Clare 0-15 to 0-13 in their Munster quarter-final clash but maintained their status in Division 3 of the National Football League this season.

Elsewhere in the draw the losers of the clash between Armagh and Donegal will meet the loser of Meath or Wicklow, while the loser of the clash between Westmeath and Wexford will host Down.
