Garvey well represented at Interpro series with 15 players on the pitch
The weekend saw 15 Lisnagarvey players take part in the boys U16 and U18 Interpro series at Mossley Hockey Club.
During the course of the weekend the boys did both Ulster and their club proud with some fantastic performances. For the U18s James Millken had an excellent tournament between the posts whilst Sean Murray was instrumental in midfield.
In the 16s squad Andrew O’Hare scored a hat trick in the final game whilst Fraser Carnduff highlighted his talent as a rising star in the goalkeeping ranks of the club. The U18s lost out on the title while the U16 side (co captained by Garvey’s Jordan Taggart) went all the way. Many of the players will now be looking forward to trials for the Irish under age sides.
