Garvey’s late comeback is not enough as they take just one point

Lisnagarvey made a late comeback at home to Dundonald on Saturday but it was not enough and they lost by 14 shots, only claiming a point in NIBA Division One.

Down 4-15 at the tenth Philip Cromie dropped a three and was 9-21 down at 15 ends, but he did come back strongly though losing by six shots.

Two threes and a four helped Neil Mulholland to a 14-5 lead at the tenth and another three made it 21-6 at 15 ends and the winning margin was ten shots.

Down 3-18 at the tenth and 4-25 at 15 ends Ivan Craig did manage to pull back to a 17 shots defeat.

After starting with a four Noel Graham was 9-11 down at the tenth but 14-13 ahead at 15 ends. Garvey dropped four at 17 ends and were 17-18 down at 19 ends before levelling the score but losing the shot at the last end.
