Geoff enjoys double Sports Bond success

FOR the third week in a row Geoff Cooke has enjoyed having a £50 major winner. However this week Geoff's fine run was even better as he had two £50 major winners.

These were Robert Tweed (A1673) and Charlie Magill (A2918). Will Geoff make it four in a row?!

Leslie Kinnear, our agent with the largest agency, had a 50 major winner with Ethel McKillen (B1892). Leslie has now increased his agency to 112 members, an incredible achievement.

The last major 50 winner created a theme that was to be repeated on two other occasions this week. Mandy Gilmore (A3804) who organises the agency at the Diamond Bar was a major 50 winner on her own agency.

In the minor section Davy Creighton (B3024) won on his own agency as did John Davison (B3804) on his own agency in the 15 consolation section. Back in the 10 minor section Ahoghill had another win with L Henry (A7199) at Ann Dickey’s paper shop.

The Development Committee had a 10 win with Trevor Alexander. Our last 10 winner was Andy Nixon (A0262), for Andy it was his first week as a member on the new agency created by Andy Nelson. Now Andy is known for his successful Sky Blue TV however we are delighted to have his support as a Sports Bond agent. Andy has now 14 members including new Ballymena Secretary Neil Coleman.

The two remaining consolation winners this week were Wilson Mark (A1892) on Hugh Hillis’ agency and Gordon Young (B1673) on the agency of Andrew Boyd.

No Jackpot was allocated with the numbers 2, 4, 16, 28 so it rises to 250 for this week.

NEW AGENT

As mentioned in the main report we are delighted to have Andy Nelson as our latest new agent. Andy has recruited most of the workforce at his place of work at the Vivo on the Cushendall Road.

KELBIE BYRNE

Trevor Burns, as everyone knows, is a huge Ballymena fan as is all his family.

Trevor is now a proud grandfather of son Martin’s new arrival, a baby boy named Kelbie Burns, a salute to former United hero Kevin Kelbie. Trevor also informed us that son Martin was called for Jimmy Martin, the famous United striker of the 70’s who recently attended a United home game.
