Gerry fells Soldierstown

A 13 shots win for Gerry Fell went a long way to giving Derriaghy a four shots home win over Soldierstown and five points in Section A of the Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League.

John Mackey lifted two doubles and four singles to lead 8-0 with an end left before Bobby Walker finished with a double.

A four and a three helped Gerry Fell to a 9-0 lead at the fourth and after David McLorn picked up a double Derriaghy added one, five and after Soldierstown got a single Derriaghy finished with a single to win by 13 shots.

At the third Richard Martin was 3-0 ahead and 5-1 at the fifth and after Michael Fell lifted two singles Soldierstown finished with two ones to win by four shots.

Two threes helped Tommy Gill to a 6-1 lead at the third and 7-3 at the sixth but Jim Johnston lifted a double and after Derriaghy added a single Soldierstown finished with another two but were still a shot down.
