Giving Chris a helping hand...

CASTLEROCK'S Chris Hughes is off to the European PGA Tour School Qualfying in September and the club kindly donated all entry fees to Chris to assist in his efforts to progress.

The competition proved to be closely contested with a three way tie between Richard McAleese (15), Jim Brolly (18) and Ryan Ferguson (15), all on 40 points.

Countback gave the top spot to Richard and runners-up place to veteran Jim. This left Ryan claiming the prize for best in the high section. The low section went to Alister King, playing off 9, for his return of 39 points.

Best gross prize was won by Gareth Dallas for his 35 points and the seniors spot was occupied by Len Taylor who returned 37 points off his mark of 18.
