Glebeside Community Friendship Tournament

THE Glebeside Community Friendship Tournament kicks-off this Friday 26 February at the Joey Dunloy Leisure Centre astro-turf.

16 teams will take part with 4 Groups featuring 4 teams in each group.

Each group will have 3 matches each and will be played on a round robin- basis with each match lasting 12 minutes one way.

3pts for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 pts for a defeat.

Each group winner will go forward to the semi-finals stage.

In an event of a tie in the group stages the concerning teams will have a penalty shoot out.

The Organiser Committee will have the right to change the format if required.

The back pass rule will be allowed and goal keepers will be allowed kick-off’s from their hands if they want.

To make the tournament run smoothly please could all managers have their teams ready at the appropriate times and pitch allocated.

All matches will be played in a very sporting manner.
