Glenn and Dallas on song for the Swifts

Week seven of the Coleraine & District League saw more top quality darts with 18 legs in under 21 darts as well as four 180s and four 100+ checkouts.

It was Villa Swifts players Davy Glenn and Gerald Dallas who stood out from the rest this week. Gerald Dallas put in the best performance of the week with an outstanding performance to win his game with legs in 14 + 17 darts while Davy Glenn hit a 15 dart leg with a 158 (T20,T20,D19) checkout the highest of the year so far.

There were a few other outstanding performances this week: Stephen Collins (Floyds A) had a 111 checkout as he won his game in 19 +21 darts, James Walker (Sperrin Flights) also won his game with legs in 19 +21 darts while the impressive Steven Campbell who is playing his first year in league darts finished in 20 +21 darts and hit a 94 checkout.

Worst recorded Individual Leg of the week goes to Richard McKeown (Scotch House) who had a not to impressive 65 dart leg, but he won the game and thats wants counts.

May Kane Memorial Tournament

The fifth annual May Kane Memorial Darts Tournament will be played on Saturday 27 October in the Sperrin Sports & Social Club. Entries will be taken up to 2pm and games will start at 2.30pm sharp, entry fee is £5. There will be a £130 in prize money up for grabs as well as other prizes. All proceeds from the day will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
