Glens to make move for 'Stute man

INSTITUTE centre-back David Ogilby is believed to be a target for Irish League kingpins Glentoran.

The Glens, who had a disappointing season by their usually high standards, are thought to be keen on the big Strathfoyle man and will make a move regardless of how 'Stute may or may not do in their possible play-off with Donegal Celtic.

Only a few years ago Ogilby nearly made the move to Derry City, while last Summer he turned down a move to Coleraine.

However the chance to join one of the 'Big Two' is likely to be too good an offer to turn down.

Glens boss Scott Young has placed five top players on the transfer list and is releasing another three as he attempts to shake things up at the Oval.

Ex-Northern Ireland international Gary Hamilton, Andy Waterworth, Daryl Fordyce, Richard Clarke and Shane McCabe have been listed by the East Belfast men.

While Michael Halliday, Kyle Neill and Dean Fitzgerald have been released after they were not offered new contracts.
