Go Giro crazy with pom poms

Oisin will help his mother, artist Jo Mac Kinley, who will run art workshops in advance of the race.

People of all ages are welcome to attend these workshops to get in the mood for the Giro D’Italia cycle race which will pass through the Moyle area on Saturday 10 May.

Participants will make giant pink pom poms all in pink, the signature colour for the race, to wave at the cyclists as they pass.

All children should be accompanied by an adult at these FREE workshops.

Friday 2 May, Cushendall. VENUE: Cushendall Youth Club, (formerly St Aloysius School), 60 Coast Road, Cushendall BT44 ORX. 6pm -8pm.

Saturday 3 May, Cushendun. VENUE: Glenmona House, Cushendun 10.30am – 12.30.
