Goals ‘Rain’ down on Ballyclare Ladies as they ship in five
Ballyclare Ladies started the new season with a Senior Cup match against Rainey who coasted to a 5-0 win.
The Magherafelt girls turned round 4-0 up. Ballyclare performed better in the second session, testing the keeper several times without success.
“The Rainey goals were all scored with superb reverse-stick strikes,” said club PRO Sara Coulter, “but the return of Caroline McGookin, Jessica West, Louise Holmes and Dee Wallace, who were all missing last season, should strengthen our team for the Senior 1 programme,” she added.
