Jason Thompson, Andy Dunn and Derek Simpson ran out comfortable winners in the end topping the table with 448 points. With Jason and Derek doing most of the leg work from the start Andy produced some of his best golf this year, just when it mattered to take the pressure of his team mates.

The runner-up spot went to Barry Toland, Marty McVeigh and Gerard Mullan who just gave themselves too much to do in the final week finishing with 435 points. Kieran Berryman, Ryan Magee and Bryan Donaghy secured third place with 429 points. Fourth place went to Andy Young, Trevor Thompson and Shea Hogg with 428 points.

Thursday saw a Club Stableford which was won by Joel Adlard.

A product of the Roe Park Junior Academy and the Darren Clarke School of Golf, Joel certainly knows his way around the course winning with an unbeatable 40 points.

His one over round of 70 included 4 birdies and 10 pars. Alex Steele recorded his best finish so far this year to take the runner-up spot with an excellent score of 39 points. Stephen Lunn continues his good form to take third place with 38 points beating Dr Trevor Thompson into fourth place with the same score, on count back.

With the Spring League ending the weekend also saw the beginning of the ‘Golfer of the Year’ sponsored by Resident PGA Professional Michael McCrudden.
