All the president’s men at Aughnacloy Golf Club

A team competition took place recently at Aughnacloy Golf Club with competitors either playing for the Captain Mr Jim Taggart or the President Mr Eddie Boyd.

On a lovely frosty morning a large turnout of players turned up to take part in this event.

The President’s team were in excellent form and came out the overall winners beating the Captain’s Team.

Captain’s Team 412 President’s Team 435. After the Competition the winning trophy was awarded to the President with the Captain picking up the wooden spoon!

A slimathon is currently taking place at the club with Mr. Gerry Carberry being sponsored for his total weight loss. All proceeds are for club funds and members are asked to support Gerry in his efforts to raise money.
