Bobby’s the big winner of the John Smyth Memorial Trophy
The PIGS Golf Society at Banbridge GC had a rather special day last Thursday.
They played for the John Smyth Memorial Trophy. They had a wonderful Christmas Dinner. And they celebrated the 90th birthday of their esteemed President, Harry McMeekin. Bobby Geddis won the John Smyth Memorial Trophy and he was overjoyed. Jim Ledlie was runner-up and Norman Doak finished in third place. Harry McMeekin presented the trophy to Bobby amid rapturous applause. Harry was delighted with his birthday cake and his surprise present. He is a wonderful gentleman and he deserved every accolade.
