Brickkiln Spring League reaches half-way stage

THE Brickkiln Spring League at Foyle has reached the half way stage with five cards returned and Team 6 of Liam McCafferty, Paul McIntyre, Richard Burton and Jarlath Clarke still lead the way with an accumulated total of 500 points.

Team 2 of Maurice Temple, Jim McGrotty, John Logue and John Coyle have moved into second place after returning an excellent score of 102 points on their fifth card and an accumulated total of 490 points.

Team 16 of John McDowell, Paddy Coyle, David Knox and Stuart Gauld are now in third place after returning a score of 101 points for their fifth card and a total of 483 points.

With Team 3 of Damien McColgan, Cormac McGeady, Martin Kivelehan and K McDaid with 480 points and Team 1 of Colm Norris, Danny McCay, Gavin McDonnell and Damien Kivelehan with 479 points in close contention making for a very interesting second half of the league with eight teams to qualify for the Match Play stages.

Jim McFadden, Bill McChrystal, Brendan Duffy, Brian O'Neill and Gerry Breslin all winning turkeys, while the Brickkiln Spring League and Easter Egg competitions continues daily this week.

Foyle
