Captaincy hand over at Magnet

OUTGOING captain of the Magnet Bar Golf Society, Myles O'Hagan thanked the members for their support in a very enjoyable and successful year.

The captaincy was handed over to longstanding and popular member Mr Kelvin Shields.

Kelvin will be assisted by Vice-Captain, Mr Noel Murray. The Treasurer will be Mr Kevin Green, the Handicap Convenor will be Mr Damien Harkin and the Competition Secs will be Mr Myles O'Hagan and Mr Bee Kelly.

December's Turkey Shoot has been re-scheduled for this Saturday at Foyle Golf Centre with the Tee reserved from 10am. This will be followed by a meal and awards ceremony for the 2009 season back at the Magnet. All members are asked to contact Myles O'Hagan to confirm their attendance for the golf and dinner.

Kelvin Shields year as Captain will commence with an outing to Radisson in Limavady on Sunday 7th March, with the tee-off from 10.36am. Kelvin has each of the outings for the year confirmed and a list of all dates and venues is available from the bar.
