Carlin storms home at Faughan Valley

THE Keith Cameron Trophy at Faughan Valley Golf Club was won this year by Conrad Carlin (25), despite the inclement weather conditions Conrad returned an excellent score of 44 points.

Second place after a break of tie finish with 40 points was 23 handicapper Jason Brown and third place went to Stephen Middelton (21) who scored 41 points.

The gross prize went to James Lindsay (4), Andy Lindsay (21) with 21 points won the front nine and Kevin Payne (10) with 23 points won the back nine.

First in the ladies section was Jackie McNulty (35) with 34 points, second after a BOT finish was Denise Callan (22) with 32 points and Pearl Cowell (28) also with 32 points was third.

In the mid-week open stableford competition Raymond Simpson (24) took the honours with 41 points, second was Tim Coleman (20) with 40 points and Robert Curry (12) with 37 points was third.

In the Sunday open stableford Francis Devine (18) took first place with 39 points, Gregory McGlinchey (9) with 39 points was second and John W Thompson (17) with 36 points was third.
