Saturday’s competition at Carrickfergus Golf Club was played over 12 holes with three starting points.
The winners were: Point 1 - Mike Walker (29 points), Garth Lyle, G. Thompson and Jack Purdy (all 27 points). Point 2 - Jim Bruce (30 points, Gary Robinson (27 points), Fred Blain (26 points) and Stanley Spray (25 points). Point 3 - Michael McGivern (28 points), Maurice McAteer (27 points), Stuart McClurg (27 points) and Harry Hamilton (26 points).
