First up was a Club Stableford which was won by Mark Caughey who scored a fantastic 43 points. He narrowly beat in form man Jason Thompson, who also scored 43 points, on count back. Jason won’t be too disheartened mind as he has literally cleaned up so far this season and now plays off a handicap of 3. Malcolm Stuart had a solid round to finish third scoring 40 points and Andy Young was fourth with 39 points.

Saturday again saw a Club Stableford played in slighter tougher conditions than Thursday and Liam Berryman was the victor with a fine score of 40 points. He reminded son Kieran he isn’t the only talented golfer in the family.
