Clarke happy with McGinley selection
FORMER Open champion Darren Clarke officially opened the Golf Store Europe, which is one of the largest internet based golf products and custom fit retailers in the UK and Ireland, at Foyle Driving Range and Golf store on Wednesday afternoon.
Clarke held a short demonstration before taking some questions from the large turn-out of golfers who attended the opening.
The Ulsterman then talked about his chances at next month’s Masters in Augusta and the European Tour’s tournament committee’s decision to choose Paul McGinley as Europe’s Ryder Cup Captain for next year’s clash against the USA, at Gleneagles.
