Club sides set to take centre-stage

SUNDAY week will mark the start of the All-County Club Leagues and three divisions will be in place at senior level.

From a north Armagh perspective, Sarsfields and league champions Maghery will be competing in the top flight, along with St Peter’s and St Paul’s – the latter two promoted along with Shane O’Neill’s.

In the second division, Wolfe Tones, Eire Og, Clann Eireann and Clan na Gael remain in line for impressive campaigns.

The Division Three structure should be a tough level thanks to sides like Pearse Ogs in the running order.

The All-County League teams will be keen to hit the ground running considering the one-way nature of the sections over 15 games.

Club play will take centre-stage now over a six-week spell.

The Reserve Leagues will return to the somewhat traditional format of a North-South split. At youth level, the underage structure will kick off with minor games from Monday week across a minimum of 13-a-side games.
