Clubhouse extension boosts Galgorm Castle facilities

Galgorm Castle Golf Club has recently undergone a £250,000 make-over transforming it into a contemporary space for members and visitors to enjoy. The refurbishment and extension includes plush new changing facilities, relaxation areas and a contemporary balcony area for bar and restaurant for members and visitors to dine alfresco.

The transformation is part of the £8 million investment, Galgorm Castle Estates announced in May; which will also includes a Garden Centre, a business courtyard and restoration of the Castle itself.

The Golf Club has received over half a million pound investment on the course and new Clubhouse refurbishment. Coupling the great course with an equally magnificent Clubhouse now offers golfers exactly what they want.

Galgorm Castle is a modern, friendly and progressive club which continues to invest and improve its facilities annually and is recognised as one of the top golf courses and facilities in Ireland.

From the complete novice to the scratch golfer, young and old, male or female everyone can enjoy the Galgorm Castle experience.

The Bar & Restaurant is open to the public and offers an extensive menu in idyllic settings.

The Driving Range is open to everyone and costs only £3 for 40 balls with free golf clubs in the Pro Shop offering a great pastime for all the family.

The Driving Range is open to 9pm weekdays and 7pm weekends.

The new international standard facilities will ensure Galgorm Castle retains its tag as one of Ireland’s top Golf Clubs and live up to its star billing for the Northern Ireland Open from 29th August – 1st September 2013.
