Coull comes out on top at Redcastle

THE Redcastle Ladies Charity Open in Aid of Alzheimer's Society, which took place on Monday, July 26 and was sponsored by Helen Parke and Elsie Owens, was played in near perfect conditions.

Coming out on top after a break of tie finish was City of Derry member Pat Coull (20) who scored 40 points, second also after a BOT finish was Suzanne McGonagle (33) after she too scored 40 points and Buncrana's Marian Simpson (30) with 40 points was third.

The gross winnner was Jennie Flanagan (15) 20 gross points, the front nine was claimed by Una McGeough (29) after she scored 21 points and Audrey McGurk (29) with 19 points won the back nine.

Best visitior was Foyle's Maureen Loudon (24) after she scored 32 points. In the men's competition Anthony McLaughlin (21) with 23 points claimed first place, while a Martin Agnew (19) with 20 points was second and the S/S was 72.

On Monday, August 2nd, the Fields Salver competition was down for decision and Gena Porter (23) with 37 points was first, second was Helen Parke (36) after she scored 35 points and Una McGeough (28) with 34 points was third.
