David gets that Winning feeling at Greenisland
DAVID Winning’s round of 38 points saw him triumph at John Leckey’s Captain’s Day at Greenisland Golf Club on Saturday (June 11).
Winning finished one point ahead of second-placed Michael Erskine while Best Gross went to Geoff Pearson with 31 points.
The Visitors’ Prize was won by Ronnie Wilkinson from Shandon Golf Club with 33 points. The Council and Team Captain’s Prize went to Adrian Brown with 34 points while Anno Domini prize was won by Larry Watter with 35 points.
Michael Glover performed best on the front nine carding 20 points while the Back Nine prize was awarded to Stewart Beattie also with 20 points.
