Delighted Margaret emerges as the winner to lift the 02 Trophy

The ladies once again had beautiful sunshine on Tuesday July 15 as they competed for the O2 Trophy and for the lovely prizes sponsored by Susan Magennis, Teresa Mc Conville and Marlene Nelson.
The Banbridge Ladies team played County Armagh Golf Club last Thursday in the quarter-final of the Ulster section of the Junior Cup.

Two ladies Margaret Russell and Ada Lavery returned the best cards on the day with a score of 39 points but Margaret emerged the overall winner on countback.

There were no “2”s so it rolls over to next week.

The Junior team captained by Fionnuala Crossey played against a very strong Armagh at home last Thursday and unfortunately luck was not on their side. They have all to play for in the return match.
