Doherty wins Vintners outing
THE Derry Vintners Golf Society held their last outing at City of Derry GC on Wednesday, August 18, it was kindly sponsored by Noraut and was won by Peter Doherty after he scored 41 points, second was Brian Abel after he scored 38 points and Eamon McCourt with 36 points was third.
The front nine went to Liam Tourish after he scored 19 points and Niall McDermott with 20 points won the back nine, while Stephen Harkin with 39 points was the best visitior.
The Next outing will be Mr. Suki Nagra Captain's Prize at Foyle GC on Saturday, September 25.
